There are several ways to add your message. One way is to view your script in Outlook Express or Window Mail. I know some of us do not use OE/WM but we will take that route for the time being.
If you are looking at the stationery [graphic] in your mail program, you will see a reference to text. By double clicking on that reference you will activate the text box. It may say 'Text Here" or "Text goes here" or something similar. When you double click on that text, you will see a 'box'. Highlight the word(s) there and begin typing your text. Do not hit backspace or delete to erase because it may change your stationery. Usually the box will grow to hold your text.
Do not worry that it doesn't look like you thought it would or that it isn't moving. It does not do that in the edit mode. Do not move or change anything.
Another way to add your message is in the htm script itself. This is usually not a good idea but it may be the only way for some of us. As we go through the script you will see where it says, "Text Here". You can highlight those words and type your message in that space. When we preview the stationery, you will be able to see it. Using this method alters the script from it's basic premise. In other words the text stays within the script until you change it.
The third way and recommended way of adding your message is in the edit and/or source window of OE/WM. I will explain how to set that up.
